Manchester United’s new season has begun just like the last one ended — with mistakes between the posts.

A Nightmare Start
It took less than 15 minutes for United to concede in their Premier League opener against Arsenal.
A corner swung in, Riccardo Calafiori bundled the ball over the line, and Arsenal were 1–0 up. For United, it was déjà vu.
Manchester United Bayindir’s Costly Error
The mistake came from Altay Bayindir. Tasked with covering for the injured André Onana, the Turkish goalkeeper completely misjudged the ball. Instead of clearing it, he fumbled badly, gifting Arsenal the early breakthrough.
Bayindir, who is still fighting for a regular spot, has now made his battle even harder.
Onana Still Under Pressure
The irony? André Onana, United’s first-choice keeper, is also under scrutiny. After a season full of high-profile errors, fans had been hoping for stability in goal this year.
Instead, with Onana sidelined and Bayindir struggling, United find themselves in the same old situation — defensive uncertainty and pressure piling up early in the campaign.
