Salt Lake City Fire Update: Salt Lake City’s downtown turned into a scene of chaos Monday night as a massive fire ripped through the London Belle Supper Club at 321 S. Main Street.

Fire crews swarmed the area, battling towering flames and heavy smoke that could be seen from blocks away. Authorities quickly shut down Main Street from 300 South to 400 South, blocking both vehicles and pedestrians.
The incident also brought public transport to a halt — TRAX trains stopped running in the area, forcing the Utah Transit Authority to set up a bus bridge between 600 South and City Center. Commuters were warned to expect delays of up to 20 minutes across the TRAX network.
The Salt Lake City Fire Department has urged residents and visitors to steer clear while firefighting operations continue. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and there have been no official reports of injuries so far.

Authorities are expected to release more details as the situation develops.
